Ahsia Badi works in public health where she provides strategic assistance to neighborhoods, communities, and civic organizations looking to become more inclusive of older adults. Ahsia has 10+ years of experience in public health. She has served as the manager of a public-private perinatal quality improvement program in California as well as health promotion in Harlem. A practicing occupational therapist, Ahsia has extensive experience treating children, adults, and seniors in a variety of institutional and community-based settings.
In addition, Ahsia currently holds an appointment from the Manhattan Borough President to Community Board 6 where she serves as Chair, Health and Education. She also sits on Bellevue Hospital’s Community Advisory Board where she chairs the Legislation Committee.
