Tahanie is an American-born Palestinian attorney, raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is the founder of the Aboushi Law Firm and is also counsel to the law firm of Senator John L Sampson, Dernocratic leader of New York State.

Ms. Aboushi is vice president of the American Congress for Muslim Youth, an organization that led 21 American Muslim women to participate in the American Muslim Women’s Leadership Training Program sponsored by His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces.

Ms. Aboushi received her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in Queens, NY and her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University Law School.
