Bi-Annual Panel/Speaker Discussion

Twice a year MCN invites high profile speakers to participate in a panel discussion about a topic that relates to MCN’s mission. At our 2011 Annual Iftar Dinner in August, Dr. John Esposito spoke about religious bigotry throughout the history of the United States and how people of faith can work to create harmonious communities.

In November 2011, MCN hosted a panel discussion with Farah Pandith, Special Representative of Muslim Communities at the U.S. State Department, Joyce Dubensky, Executive Vice President and CEO of the Tannenbaum Center, and Anya Cordell, author and activist titled “Looking Beyond Ourselves: The Power of Empathy in Social Change”.
