MCN Serves is our community service volunteer project with over 150 active participants. We are devoted to giving back and building a strong New York community.

Muslims Against Hunger

At our monthly interfaith soup kitchen, the Muslims Against Hunger Project in the Holy Trinity Church, MCN and church volunteers work together to purchase, prepare and serve delicious and nourishing meals to low-income and homeless individuals. Together we feed 150 people a month and over 1,800 a year! Started in 2011, the soup kitchen continues to run the last Saturday of every month. To learn more about the Muslims Against Hunger Project, you can visit their website at www.muslimsagainsthunger.com.

Interested in volunteering? We’d love to have you! Please click here to fill out the sign up sheet or contact our lead coordinator, Sumaiyah Ahmed, at sumaiyah@mcnny.org.

Unable to attend? That’s ok! You can sponsor the cost of a meal for just $6.07. Larger donations are very much appreciated. Click here to donate or mail your tax exempt donation to:
