Join Muslim Community Network and Habitat for Humanity for a fun day of community service!

“Brush with Kindness” is Habitat NYC’s neighborhood revitalization program, aimed at helping to improve and strengthen the low-income New York City neighborhoods where we build homes.

Working with crews of volunteers, the Brush with Kindness program provides painting and minor renovations and repairs to community organizations, schools and other facilities serving our homeowner families and their neighborhoods. On 11/21 from 9:15am-4:30pm we will be working at:
NYCHA Cypress Hills Senior Center
475 Fountain Ave, Brooklyn 11208

These community-building efforts are part of Habitat NYC’s broader strategy to transform neighborhoods and our city.

Spots are limited to the first 20 people who sign up. Registration closes when spots have been filled. We ask that volunteers fundraise/donate any amount they feel comfortable with to cover the cost of tools and supplies for the project.

To fundraise and track donations made on your behalf create your own fundraising page under MCN’s Team. Here is the link to create your page. Instructions are as follow:
