As the summer comes to an end, we partnered with Hillside Islamic Center and Shelter Rock Islamic Center for a one-day youth leadership development and civic engagement workshop. Participants explored themes of leadership, opportunity, civic engagement, community impact, and social justice. As our guest speaker, Farzana Linda from CHHAYA CDC spoke about being a community advocate.
