Muslim Communities Virtual Town Hall: Sharing Empowerment Tools to Combat Anti-Muslim Discrimination and Xenophobia

On Thursday, November 12th, from 6pm-8pm, the NYC Commission on Human Rights, in partnership with the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), will be holding a Muslim Communities Virtual Town Hall to address anti-Muslim discrimination, hate crimes and xenophobic violence in NYC, particularly in light of post-election climate. Featured on the panel will be representatives from Malikah to share bystander intervention resources, the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes to share guidance on reporting and Aisha Al-Adawiya to speak on empowering all Muslim New Yorkers in the face of xenophobic hate.
