Youth Leadership Development and Civic Engagement Workshop at Hillside Islamic Center

In partnership with the Hillside Islamic Center, MCN will be hosting a youth leadership and
civic engagement workshop. This workshop will give participants an idea of our afterschool
MYNYC program to be implemented in September 2019. This initiative aims to empowers the
next generation of leaders by providing them with the opportunity to learn valuable leadership
skills, develop their confidence and identity as leaders, address local social justice issues and
initiate projects to address community issues of importance to them.
