Musfika Moshahid joins MCN as the Muslim Women’s Civic Empowerment Program Coordinator in September 2021. Musfika recently earned her B.A degree from the City College of New York where she majored in Political Science and minored in Community Change Studies. Born in Bangladesh, and raised in the Bronx, she has experience in community organizing around housing and immigrant rights issues. Musfika is excited to be serving and working with Muslim women, especially those who come from marginalized communities, so that they can be the leaders in their own lives.
