Mariam Eliasu’s Biography
Mariam Eliasu is an African immigrant to the United States from Accra, Ghana (West Africa). She is a full-time wife and a mother of three beautiful children. She is a youth counselor, academic tutor and a volunteer to several immigrant families and communities in New York City.
Mariam holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Diploma in Islamic Studies, a Certificate in Education and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Mariam is a strong children, youth and women’s advocate.
During her leisure, Mariam enjoys time with her family and exploring nature across the city and parks in New York. She enjoys writing as well. She put her life experiences together and wrote a memoir. Consequently, Mariam is an author of “Facing Life-Memoir of an African Immigrant”.
