Owaish Khan is the Community Empowerment Coordinator who is dedicated to sharing Islamic teachings and correcting misconceptions about Muslims. Currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Brooklyn College, she aims to spread Islam through knowledge and empathy, with a drive to unify the Muslim ummah. Owaish enjoys engaging in meaningful conversations with others to enable spiritual growth while advocating for emotional healing to strengthen character in service to Allah. Her commitment to helping others learn how to practice Islam in the West is what she hopes to achieve with this position.
